What this app does

Quit YouTube connects to your Google account so it can read your YouTube subscriptions and recent channel uploads, then generate transcript-based summaries and transcript chat.

Google data we access

The app requests read-only YouTube access. We use it to read subscription and video metadata needed to find videos from channels you follow. We do not upload, edit, or delete YouTube data.

Data we store

We store your email, app settings, selected channel preferences, saved video metadata, transcript status, summaries, chat messages, and encrypted access credentials needed to keep the app working.

How we use data

We use your data only to provide the product features: fetching relevant videos, creating summaries, generating memorable quotes, enabling transcript chat, and showing usage details. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Third-party processors

The app uses Convex for application data, Google APIs for YouTube access, OpenRouter for AI generation, Transcript API for transcript retrieval, and Resend for email delivery when email digest delivery is enabled.

Revoking access

You can revoke Google access from your Google Account permissions page.

Data deletion

To request deletion of app data associated with your account, email bernardo.campos89@gmail.com from the Google account you used to sign in.
